From your child’s first day with us to the small everyday details, we’ve brought everything you need into one place — so you can spend less time searching and more time getting excited about the journey ahead.
Getting to Know Us
From their very first day right through to school readiness, children move through age-appropriate rooms designed around what they need at each stage of their development. Small groups and consistent, familiar educators help every child feel secure as they grow, with a dedicated Kindergarten program preparing our oldest children for the next step in their learning journey.
We’re open Monday to Friday, 7:00am–6:00pm, 52 weeks of the year, so families can rely on us whatever the season. Our approach is play-based and grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), giving children the freedom to explore, question and discover at their own pace.
Your Child’s Day
Mealtimes at Daisy Cottage are about more than food — they’re a chance for children to build healthy habits, try new things and enjoy a moment together with their friends. Meals and snacks are prepared fresh each day, with thoughtful attention to nutrition and variety, and every child’s individual dietary needs and allergies are catered for so families can feel confident their little one is well looked after.
Rest and sleep routines are shaped around each child’s individual needs, and our educators support toilet learning gently and in step with your child’s own readiness — always in partnership with what’s happening at home.
We take care of the everyday essentials too — wipes and sunscreen are all included, one less thing on your list.
What to Bring
A simple checklist to help you pack with confidence:
- A bag labelled with your child’s name
- A change of weather-appropriate clothing
- A sun hat
- A water bottle
- A comfort item from home, if your child has one
For our youngest families: if your baby is bottle-fed or you’re providing expressed breast milk, just let your room educators know and they’ll talk you through what to bring.
Fees & Child Care Subsidy
Our fees vary depending on room and the number of days your child attends, and we’re a Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approved provider, so eligible families can access government support towards their fees.
